Pair of Oak War Department Side Table Cabinets C1960

Very much in the Cotswold School style, this matching pair of lighter English oak side tables/cabinets which would work well in so many spaces. The design is very much Gordon Russell with simple, easy on the eye lines, well shaped and grained legs, a little felt lined “cubby hole” for books, or personal trinkets and a lower shelf.

Both pieces are in great condition having been cleaned in our workshop, ready to place - expect a few age marks but nothing nasty.

A very nice looking pair of oak side tables with the WD stamp and date, 1960, to the underside of one of them.
