English Oak Modernist Student Desk C1930

A wonderful English oak student desk of exceptional design in the Modernist Deco style C1930. It's compact and neat with sharp lines, well angled and thought about. This particular set up is quite unique leading us to believe it was likely a commissioned piece rather than a production line model - saying that it certainly has a big dose of Heals about it...

We have a small work area of good height with a slender drawer sitting underneath, along with a tall flight of four drawers to the left with shadow lines and original handles. Condition is good - of course we have wear and the odd mark, a few ripples to the original leather top but the desk sits well and with a good tone to the solid English oak. We have ensured the desk is ready for placing.
