Attractive Oak Deco Dining Table and 4 Matching Oak Chairs C1930
Enjoying the look and quality on this set, English early 1930s and surviving in that desirable unrestored look. We were attracted by the design on these - the oak balls matched to the legs of the table and chairs are rather good and the little floral motifs on the backs of the chairs are a nice feature…
As mentioned we were fortunate to find this set in a very original condition - we of course have age wear but the set has been carefully looked after and used. The chairs all sit in good order with no wobbles or repairs. The original brick red coloured Rexine seats are in very good order and very usable - we are happy to reupholster them in a fabric of your choice at a cost of £45 per chair plus fabric and VAT. The chairs are weighty for the size and have a curved front making them comfortable. The matching table possesses two extending leaves underneath if you wish to accommodate more guests. The frame sits firm with day to day marks to the base. The top is in very good original condition with few marks and no splits. Overall a good tone and grain to the English oak.
A particularly good, attractive and usable 1930s Art Deco oak dining room set.
