English Golden Oak 2 Drawer Desk C1930

It's certainly been a while since we were fortunate to offer one of these 1930s 2 drawer desks in a lesser seen lovely solid English golden oak desk, with some very nice grains to the drawers and top. No maker’s mark but could be Dancer & Hearne.

The design and scale is functional with this one dating from the early 1930s rather than a later model. We have a solid oak over sailing top with two well sized drawers with original swan neck handles in place and 4 thick lightly tapered legs. 

Condition is good - we have historic marks and the desk sits firm, it’s weighty for its size and is ready to place after a careful clean and wax in our workshop. Expect sensible day to day wear with drawers running smoothly etc.

A now classic piece of British office furniture in a desirable shade of English oak C1930.
