Morris of Glasgow Mid Century Chest of Drawers C1960

A striking chest of 3 drawers by Morris of Glasgow (makers gold stamp to drawers) in Australian walnut and birch designed by Neil Morris forming part of his Cumbrae range which took its influence from mid century Danish design.

The 3 drawer chest by Morris is without doubt a great looking versatile piece which works well in most rooms with its solid angled legs to all corners, slightly shimmering birch trim, shaped knobs, light birch interior to the drawers and striking Walnut to the drawer fronts, sides and top  all very much of the era.

This one has been carefully re-polished in our workshop so expect good deep tones, clean drawers with just the odd mark or two but nothing nasty or off putting.
