Interesting Arts and Crafts Winged Armchair 1910

A very interesting Arts & Crafts, likely Scottish armchair, with a highly distinctive design c1910. No makers mark on this one, but super quality. 

Not seen another of these before with its rather handsome stance. The little attractive wings keeping the draft from one's face, the angled frame giving real class and the jolly well shaped arms and legs finishing off the look. 

Condition is good with a firm repair free frame with historic wear, the seat webbing is good with its stance and ample seat making it highly comfortable. The pale green silk fabric is worn but perfectly usable if you so desire. Our upholsterer can offer a full reupholstery of the piece for £335 + VAT plus you would require 2 metres of fabric. We are able to assist with sourcing fabric swatches if you wish or are happy to work with your fabric.
