Harry Bertoia Side Chair In Black

Sourced from a Mid Century period apartment, we have a good Harry Bertoia chair. Rightly a classic design with the use of strong coated steel wire. This one does have sensible wear and shows the attributes of an original design with single rim seat, the basket weave appears to be consistent with Bertoia originals where the vertical wire strut sits on top of the perimeter wire frame etc.

Bertoia described the chair as being "mainly made of air".

It sits firm and is ready for use after a light dusting, perfect partner to a desk.
