Guy Rogers Mid Century New Yorker Armchair
The 'New Yorker' armchair was designed by Mr Eric Pamphilon Director of Design at Guy Rogers and Mr George Freyer, it was featured in the 1967 Guy Rogers catalogue and retailed by Heal's. It is without doubt a wonderful looking chair crafted in solid Afromosia teak. These are just a little nicer than the Manhattan in our view…
We have 2 of these which have been rewebbed and have new foam seat and back cushions covered in an ivory boucle weave fabric. The pair have been on display in a London show apartment so have had very, very little wear if any. The frames are deep in tone with no fade and sit well - no wobbles or splits to the frames or arms. Both armchairs are ready to place.
Price is for one delivered, not both.
A rather good looking armchair - one of Guy Rogers best!
