Gordon Russell Oak Modernist Wardrobe C1935

Love this one! A Gordon Russell oak modernist wardrobe of lovely form and tone. The simplicity of the design makes this great for a hallway as well as a bedroom. It's never easy to make something simple look fabulous but this one works. It would have formed part of a set in its day with tremendous use of quality timber to all parts.

Condition is good with the original workshop finish in place with a working lock and key, hanging poles, half shelf and coppered maker's badge to the back. The piece has been separated sometime ago maybe for placing with strong plates to the top in place. We have carefully cleaned the wardrobe and ensured it's ready to place.
