Fabulous Mid Century Desk Occasional Armchair c1950

A rather fabulous looking Desk or Occasional Armchair by AJ Allen of High Wycombe, late 1950s, label underneath. This one sits in a truly wonderful condition with a truly individual look. 

The beech frame with those super shapely arms and metal tipped front legs is very much of the period and is of fine quality. The original vinyl upholstery with its buttoned back complements the frame perfectly and the chair is comfortable to sit at. We haven't seen one like this before and the condition is just great.

A very nice Mid Century English chair.
