English Oak Open Bookcase by Inglesants 1920s

A smart looking open bookcase by Inglesants - similar in quality to those by Gillows. It has  three adjustable oak faced shelves, a pleasing on the eye stepped base, late 1920s and sitting in a rather lovely condition.

The bookcase has the makers badge to the rear and is of good quality made of solid oak apart from the oak front shelves which were apparently backed with hardwood to stop warping. Condition is good with very little marks and a good deep grain with build quality being first class.
