Delightful Little Mid Century Table Lamp Exmoor Pottery
A rather lovely little hand painted Stuart Bass of Exmoor Pottery table lamp. A delightfully sweet piece with flowers and a very handsome little Wren to one side. The lamp is signed and sits in super well cared for condition. Perfect for a small side table or maybe a cottage hallway.
Stuart Bass spent time at Buckfast Abbey making pottery for the monks and was commissioned to make an 18” x 12” terracotta plaque of ‘Christ in Majesty’ for Mariansleigh Church in North Devon and opened Exmoor Art Pottery in 1959.
