Delightful Antique Victorian Oak Twin Pedestal Desk C1880

Just back from a year long session at a Gloucestershire show home, this lovely Victorian oak desk is back with us at Rangemore and is seeking its new home. 

Originally from a small period home in the Home Counties where it sat for over 100 years, the desk is a charming piece with historic wear and a pleasing glow giving it that very difficult to copy “lived in look”. A closer look finds some lovely decorative moulding to all the drawer edges with the original brass Victorian handles rather attractive to boot.

It sits in good order with a useful and attractive run of drawers, a deep bottom plinth and the scale is just right. The desk comes with working locks and a key for the drawers and the attractive deep green/deep blue leather which is original is also in situ with age marks etc.

Please note the desk separates into 3 for easier moving and placing.
