Cotswold School Oak Air ministry 2 Drawer Bureau c1960

We have a very good looking military golden oak 2 drawer bureau in the Cotswold School manner with the Air Ministry stamp to the reverse.

These were made especially to a military specification and offer a wide working space with plenty of pigeon holes for storage when the front is dropped. This one sits in the preferred golden oak rather than dull hardwood and is in lovely condition with a working key for the 3 locks, original turned handles and original writing surface. The piece is reassuringly heavy with no repairs, just a careful repolish in our workshop to highlight the tone and grain of the oak.

A rather handsome looking piece, English c1960.
