Attractive Cane Armchair New Seat C1920

A very easy to place 1920s wood framed cane armchair having just had its seat fully reupholstered and finished in a classical linen mix fabric by Warner House. The early 19th Century serpentine trail of Indienne patterns from Christophe-Philippe Oberkampf’s Toiles de Jouy factory is coloured in a combination of cardinal, blues and deep coral. This occasional tub chair will fit into so many spaces in a period or modern home. 

As mentioned the seat is new and plump and we have sensible historic wear to the decorative frame including a little strong repair to the arm - fine and not a concern. Very much ready for placing after a light waxing.
