Art Deco Golden Oak Glazed Bookcase Cabinet Gomme 1930s

A very good looking Art Deco inspired English glazed bookcase by Gomme in a lovely tone of golden oak with some particularly eye-catching grains to the front door frames. In the Art Deco period Gomme married both design and quality very well, giving us some very good stylish pieces using good timber, in this case solid English oak. 

This one would not look out of place in a period or modern home with its gentle Deco influences - the little flower embossed design to the bottom and top, vented oak to the front sides and the two tiered top all make it very attractive .

Condition is good with sensible wear - we have 3 adjustable shelves to the inside, original glass and a working lock and key. Carefully repolished in our workshop.
