Antique Mid 19th Century 2 Drawer Desk Table 1840

Another one of our pieces from a large Leicestershire country home and what a fab set of legs this one has! Classic country “attic” find this one! Was once a big house piece and was relegated to the workshop and apparently used by staff until popped into the outbuildings… 

We love the look and swagger of this one - could be used as a desk or side table with its marked top, lovely turned legs and worn sleepy look. We have a historic replacement to the knobs with classic late Victorian cup handles and the original blue lining to the drawers. It sits firm with no wobbles etc and we have carefully cleaned it, so it's ready for purpose.
