1950s Mid Century Slatted Bench Table by Robin Day for Hille
Designed by Robin Day for Hille and first exhibited at the 1954 Milan Triennale as part of the Interplan range.
The slatted bench/coffee table is of an effortless construction having solid mahogany slats on forged metal legs and was intended as a multi functional piece that could be used as bench, coffee table or as a base for Interplan storage units.
Good original condition with some wear to the slats, no cracks to the angled frames. We prefer it original with wear however our workshop can refinish the slats if you wish, please let us know when ordering.
A clearly impressive piece of Mid Century furniture by Robin Day which works well in so many ways.
