Attractive 1930s Period Bow Front Burr Walnut 5 Drawer Desk

Lovely looking and good quality 1930s English 5 drawer desk with burr walnut to the drawers and top and sitting on cabriole legs with shell motif and pad feet.

The desk sits well with its 5 drawers with original brass hardware to all and a working lock and key to the long middle drawer. Condition is good - the piece sits firm with no wobbles or repairs. The drawers are running smoothly and the insides are clean. We have acceptable fading to the top and sensible wear marks to the legs and frame but nothing nasty or fresh. The piece has enjoyed a little session in our workshop and is ready for placing.

A very pleasing on the eye, piece of good scale and design.
