Vintage Oak and Leather Hillcrest Swivel Desk Office Chair 1930s
Presented as we like them, unspoiled and un-messed around with, this late 1930s desk chair with the Hillcrest swivel mechanism looks pretty good. We like the milk chocolate coloured leather hide covering the seat, arms and rear backrest all wonderfully worn.
Workshop report: - The swivel mechanism has been cleaned, lubricated and working as it should .The Oak frame has been given a light wax and polish to enhance the knocks and bumps. The leather seat and back nourished with a leather balm. Note there is a historic repair to the rear section of the leather seat which is fine and not requiring attention. Expect historic marks to both oak and leather around its edges, nothing fresh.
A decent British swivel chair that’s got a great look and is ready to pull up to a desk or plonk into a space.

Dimensions – Specifically the Seat: Height Variable x Width 46cm x Depth 42cm
