Early 20th Century British Bentwood Hat Coat Stand
We are loving the condition on this one and that wide bentwood base. It’s also a less common style being able to be placed against the wall, so a little less room needed! Plus, because it’s an early one the bentwood is a little thicker, of a better tone and it’s of a good height.
As mentioned the condition on this is great, no re-polish or stripping back, just good old-fashioned wear in the right places. There are four screws holes on the rear of centre shaft which you do not see when placed – probably used to secure against the wall? Otherwise pretty good.
Looking for originality and damn good style then this is the one we reckon!
