A Good Mid-Century E Gomme Librenza Gentleman’s Wardrobe Tallboy
A good Mid-Century E Gomme G Plan teak gentleman’s 1960s single wardrobe with a bank of three drawers and single cupboard. A sensible sized and well-designed piece which benefits from being a one owner piece.
The tallboy is a useful piece of furniture with wardrobe space for shirts etc and then a flight of 3 drawers with a small cupboard underneath which has a ¾ cut shelf. All of the original handles are in place and the colour is still strong on the Tola.
Workshop report – We have cleaned the interior, waxed the body and drawers of the tallboy. It has no repairs and is sitting firm. The height adjustable gold coloured legs are age tarnished and working fine. Brass handles are in place and are lightly age tarnished. The black base has been polished and has a little marking to the lower half but nothing to worry about. The piece is odour free. A well cared for tallboy with day to day marks.
