An Elegant Trio of Ebonised Edwardian Occasional Chairs
These are rather nice and of good quality with a very attractive shape and finished in a superior diamond jacquard woven silk fabric in old gold which contrasts very, very well with the ebonised frame. Unusual to find them with an ebonised finish and moving towards Deco in design and form.
The trio consists of a pair of side chairs and a lower nursing chair which you could place in a room or scatter around the home. As mentioned they have been reupholstered fairly recently and as such the fabric is very fresh looking, of good quality and the seats are nice, firm and plump. The frames are strong with no movement however a little marking on the legs half way up, possibly a little doggy or pussy cat – not sure, however not a big eyesore and not affecting their use. All items are carefully packed in house and transported blanket wrapped, secured and insured.
