Chestnut Brown Leather Pieff Chrome Alpha Armchair Mid Century English
We have several Pieff pieces which should be hitting our site in the next few days and this Alpha chair designed by Tim Bates is a classic with a big slice of style and retro look.
This one is in chestnut brown leather which we feel is a great match for the chrome frame. It benefits from being a one owner chair and thus has not had to endure moving home to home. The chair is in very good vintage order - the leather is aging well, there are no holes or tears, all of the matching buttons are in place, the rubber seat supports are in place with no repairs all around. The chrome frame is firm with no splits or cracks. Still bearing its manufacture date tag and Pieff white label under the frame.
We have conditioned the leather with a good quality leather balm, cleaned and polished the chrome frame and checked the seats over for stability to ensure its ready to place.
Without a doubt a great looking chair, very comfortable, in pretty good nick, good colour and still undervalued compared to other designs from the same era.
