Victorian Rosewood Side Console Table in Faded Historic Condition
This side table can convert to a games table with a flip of the top. However, we believe its beauty is has a side / occasional / console table with those deep scroll feet and unassuming lines. It also benefits from being slightly withered and pleasingly worn with the table profiting from no restoration or re-polish.
As mentioned condition wise it’s not been messed with – the rosewood is lightly faded with marks and chips to the veneer mainly on the back feet which are hidden when placed so not a distraction. The table sits firm, no repairs or wobbles and runs on its little castors quite smoothly.
We enjoy its elegant modest form, very classy, not over ornate in stature and the rosewood grain is always a winner.
Ready to place in a hallway or behind a sofa perhaps.
