An Elegant Pair of Victorian Oak Hall Chairs
Rather pleasing on the eye, this pair of hall chairs are neat in size and particularly attractive in English oak. The front sabre legs match the lightly angled curved sweeping cartouche backs well and we would assume they have enjoyed a gentle re-polish and wax.
They are firm - no wobbles and perfectly usable rather than just been show pieces. The colour is a rich oak tone with good carving and craftsmanship. Not particularly noticeable are that the chairs are missing a small piece at the top of each sabre leg – as said hardly noticeable and not distracting. One of the chairs has a very small amount of historic worm which we have treated in our workshop, again purely as a precaution, and it does not affect its look or purpose.

We include UK mainland delivery in the purchase price making life easier for clients. We utilise the services of two careful independent couriers. All items are carefully packed in house and transported blanket wrapped, secured and insured. Deliveries take in the region of 4-14 days depending on your location and you will be given a 2 hour delivery slot 24 hours before delivery takes place.
