Splendidly Large English Victorian Barrel Back Wing Armchair
Hugely handsome and fine looking 19th Century wing armchair of country house proportions. We love the size and shape of this armchair, it’s will balanced with those dense feet, large wings and wide berth to its seat. This one just sits right!
Condition wise there is no reason why you could not place and enjoy. The Damask fabric of large flowers and foliage does have marks and light stains / fading to the seat, arms and sides, a bit of wear here and there, however perfectly serviceable with buttons and rope in place.
You could of course choose to reupholster and if so, you have a fine strong frame with no wobbles, sways or worries. The chair also smells fine.
A striking looking chair with real charm and pull…
