A Vintage Oak Abbess Two Drawer Desk
Presented in good vintage order, this two drawer desk from Abbess is in a pleasing mid oak tone and of an accommodating size compared to some.
The desk is well constructed and benefits from having adjustable metal discs on the base of the legs, in case your floor is uneven... It’s of a relatively modest design and shape, very much of its era around 1940s. The attractively slightly tapered oak legs are matched with the rounded edges to the top with two drawers for storage.
Condition wise it’s good – the legs are aging well with decent colour, the top has day to day marks but no splits, gouges or repairs and again is of good tone. The drawers have their original matching oak handles and its firm with no wobbles. We have carefully cleaned the desk and bees waxed the surface.
Pretty much ready to go - please note the legs do unscrew for placing and delivery if space is tight.
