Early 20th Century Vintage British Workshop Cabinet
A great looking piece presented in an un-messed with condition with a combination of 6 deep drawers – 3 either side of a cupboard which has 2 interior shelves. It possesses a workmanlike look - the stout feet are simple with a slight angle to them and the deep drawers are practical and unfussy. The cabinet is sitting in its original stain finish which is aging wonderfully – dulling up well, worn and slightly crusty in places. We love its purposeful, practical stance and always pleasing to find one which has not been played with!
Condition wise its good – we have cleaned the inside of the drawers and cupboard. We have lightly brushed down the outside preferring to leave it as was found rather than posh it up. The drawer runners have been waxed and the top wiped over with a little wax. Its firm and ready place.
