Robin Day For Hille Space Age 4-4000 Easy Lounge Chair 1970’s
This iconic 4-4000 design chair for Hille is definitely one of Robin Day’s most recognisable and sought after pieces. With its moulded shell set on a circular swivel base the chair is both attractive on the eye and extremely comfortable with the time worn orange cushions contrasting well with the white of the chair.
It’s in good vintage condition, importantly no cracks or repairs to the moulded chair or base. The chair is a little yellowed from the sun and the base marked with the original orange cushion covers worn and the zip failing to close on the rear of the seat cushion. Our upholsterer can make new cushions in a colour and material of your choice just let us know your requirements and we can provide a quote. Otherwise just enjoy its originality.
