A Good Victorian Aesthetic Movement Cast Iron Stick Stand
Of just the right proportions and in pleasing condition, this aesthetic movement stick stand echoes the era particularly well. With its prominent use of nature it is very much in the manner of such designers as Christopher Dresser and Thomas Jeckyll and is perfectly capable of holding sticks and or umbrellas being of good height with its iron tray is situ.
The whole piece is profusely adorned with patterns, flowers, fauna and arrays of cast shapes making it highly decorative and attractive.
Condition wise, the cast is good with no cracks or repairs and it sits firm. You could of course have the piece blasted however we like it look as is – but the choice is yours.
Functional and beautiful.
