Vintage Mid Century Teak Tall Chest of Five Drawers by Meredew
A good looking teak chest of five drawers by English maker Meredew, benefiting from nice proportions and presented in good condition. We would say carefully used and with a uniform deep tone to the teak.
Meredew were a good quality company and thus the teak grain is matched down all five drawers, the gold coloured handles are weighty, aged tarnished and well-cast. The overall craftsmanship is excellent. As mentioned this one is in good vintage condition with a few marks here and there but nothing of real note. The drawers are running smoothly and the raised legs are firm. The Meredew badge is displayed inside one of the drawers.
