A British 1940s Utility Oak Hallstand Chest of Drawers of Neat Proportions
Very much in the style of the Utility Furniture of the early 1940s and a useful combination of a top drawer, a lower cupboard with two shelves and an umbrella / stick stand. Being of a neat size perfect for a tight space or smaller hallway.
It’s a simple appealing design echoing the era well and not one we have seen before. It is presented in good vintage condition with light wear, all the handles are in place and with the green painted drip tray sitting where it should – so often annoyingly lost.
