It takes time for a teak garden bench to age and start looking the part. This recent acquisition from a private school is a great looking example with a wonderful patina and mix of colours, adding to this its stature and size it’s a cracker ready for the garden.
As mentioned this thickly set, handsome bench spent its previous life sitting close to a large tree in a small meadow setting within the grounds of a private school and thus enjoyed a charmed life gaining some lovely weathering without heavy use.
The overall frame is hefty, the legs are thick and firm, the seat again is firm and the shape is truly superb. We realise there are plenty of these seats around but we reckon this one is a great find. The bench does have a metal commemoration for a word or two if you wish. If you wish to have it engraved we would be happy to oblige for a small cost.
We have carefully and lightly brushed the bench ensuring that we keep the age and colour and left for someone to enjoy or maybe just maybe give it a pressure wash!
Ready to go and truly ready to be admired on a sunny day.
