Interesting Paddle Armed Folding Campaign Chair C1920
An interesting folding chair possessing a “country house rural pursuits” look or maybe military rather than a sweeter pretty looking piece. We were sold on the wide paddles arms, iron work and overall original condition.
The handsome chair with its simple ratchet system under those arms gives you 3 differing angles to the back. It’s been finely made with the black iron fitting well, cast and shaped and the turned and angled frame well put together. The back and seat is a little dented but strong – we have sat on it for a couple of hours to make sure!
A surprisingly comfortable chair which would work well in a hallway, greenhouse, industrial setting or folded in the back of the classic motor car…
Dimensions – Overall: Height 101cm x Width including Arms 70cm x Depth 46cm
Dimensions – Specifically the Seat: Height 46cm x Width 40.5cm x Depth 40cm
