1930s Art Deco Era Armchair Fireside Chair with Reclining Action
A neat and attractive chair surviving from around the 1930s in pretty good order with the added bonus of a reclining back. We are liking the classic design to the sides of the frame and the curvy arms finished with those thick fluted fronts reminiscent of Art Deco wall lights. The fabric is a funky mix of leaves and petals in a lively floral mix of colour. The fabric is in good order with no holes, repairs, stains or tears, just a bit of general fading. It’s a comfortable chair with its deep fixed cushioned base and tall padded back. The frame is firm, no wobbles, no repairs and it smell fine.
Ready to place, whether it be the living room, corner of the kitchen or in a bedroom.
