Vintage British 1940s Single Pedestal Metal Desk Original Worn Piece
Found in a Lancashire workshop this metal desk is presented in truly tremendous original condition with true wear and tear to the pressed steel frame, drawers and deep blue top. Surviving from the 1940s it’s full of spot-on character with really wonderful wear and rubbing to the sides. So many times these desks have been stripped and sadly the history disappears, it’s not our style so this one has had a good clean and very light waxing otherwise pretty much as found. Practical in size compared to some of the monster metal desks and it’s all there, the middle drawer does stick a bit but not a big deal.
Very original and we think all the better for it…
