A good Mid Century 1960s Teak Swivel Low Back Desk Chair
An English 1960S swivel desk chair with a whiff of the Danish about it. This one is presented in particularly good vintage order looking pretty fresh with the teak having a good dark tone rather than the faded tired look some similar ones can have.
It’s definitely a stylish one! Well formed with the black vinyl seat sitting on an angled teak frame which in turn sits on a chrome 4 star base. This one was a one owner piece and thus was well cared for – no rips in the vinyl, no repairs to the frame, castors all in situ, the swivel working well and the height adjustment also working. A little pitting to the chrome however nothing that should put you off. Maybe rare would be a little over the top, however fabulous and bang on design for the era describe this chair well.
