Simply superb design by James Leonard for ESA, this desk known as the “Headmasters Table” was found in a Private School alongside a few more interesting items. We just love this table – it’s got the look, real style and is a very accommodating size.
It’s straightforward – the angular metal frame supports the teak top and anther angular piece of teak creates the drawer. Overall the desk is in original condition with some marks to the top – 2 long scratches are visible, the odd ink stain – we have left this table in found condition apart from a wipe around feeling its best not to overdo the refurbishment. The top would be an easy refurbishment and we would be happy to suggest a suitable person to assist
