Wonderfully worn with splendid markings, wear and patina bearing the lettering COL SERGENT FISHER – 2nd DURHAM L.INF this trunk or pine box, is a country estate house find so pretty much untouched or messed with...
The top is marked with a worn cross and a deep brown, off white and red paint finish which is original. As mentioned, the lettering is to the front of the trunk – be it a little worn and again the paint is a brown red colour with a good glow. There is metal strapping around the top edge which is again historically worn. We have treated some historic worm to the base as a precaution.
A great piece of history getting more difficult to find with its past shining through well.
