This one came from a small workshop in South Yorkshire and benefits from being of a smaller size and is a good example of the era. It’s an unpretentious set-up with a pair of drawers, slightly tapered oak legs at the corners and a top with a lightly curved edge.
We rather like the fact that it’s showing it history and is pretty much untouched apart from a light bees waxing - so the odd bump to the legs, marks to the top and a general lived in look are pretty much what you are getting when you purchase this one.
Goes without saying its firm and smells fine. Does have the advantage of the legs being able to unscrew, so no trouble getting it into a tight spot.
