A great shape and high quality build, this chair survives from the 1970s and was Grassoler’s “Invader Chair” which is still produced today. This one is presented in thick tan leather and perches on well-shaped alloy legs.
These guys know how to make a chair – the metal frame hides a suspension system which you can personalise by way of a turning knob giving you soft, medium or firm. The seat lifts out to make cleaning easier, so no need to move it and the seams on the leather are overcast. It possesses a boxy look and these ones had the option of the alloy legs added at manufacture. All in all a very well made chair.
They are presented in vintage condition with wear and nibbles to the tan leather on the arms as shown, otherwise very nicely aged and comfortable to sit in.
Something a little different with a fine pedigree…
