Found in a Worcestershire chapel, these matching set of 6 chairs would have been sat on by congregations and the like. Like most chairs of this type, the design and build is simple with usage and time giving them real charm and appeal.
As mentioned, the chairs are modest in looks - simple construction with shaped seats and a lightly arched top rail. This set benefits from one owner and have aged nicely with the usual knocks, marks and bumps from daily use. Some of the chairs have historic woodworm and we have treated them as a precaution otherwise they are pretty solid with no wobbles or sways.
