Six Very Large Interesting Vintage Press Pictures Oldham Manchester Life

Found in the photographic studio at the now closed Oldham Chronicle, these are an interesting group of 6 large black and white photo images which are backed by good old fashioned hardboard and we would say from around the 1960s bearing in mind other pieces taken from the building. These are a good size – all approximately 91cm x 122.5cm apart from one which is 91cm x 102cm.
Condition wise they are as found – a few are a little tattered at the corners, all a little warped however once hung this disappears.
We would assume they may have formed news images from either front or back pages, whichever way you look at them they are a fascinating find and something a little unusual for a change. Ranging from footy player to children jumping in a weir and women rummaging for coal.
Would look great framed.
