This one possesses a great shape and depending on the way you swing - it’s showing its history and past or it needs a recover! Either way he’s a very fine - looking chap.
The chair has lived a full life. The swivel oak base is marked close to the base of its 4 feet – lots of tapping of leather on oak. The tan leather on the tub is marked, broken and worn with numerous repairs in both leather and tan Rexine particularly to the seat. Saying that, it’s perfectly useable - maybe with a cushion plonked on top of the seat or not? The swivel is fine, works on ball bearings and the casters are spinning well.
