Great Looking 1950’s Metal Framed Open Armchair / Desk Chair

Fabulous angled lines on this 1950s metal framed armchair which is presented in good vintage order and condition. Of British heritage with a hint of Scandinavian, the chair is an uncommon find and we would say from a commercial background. The heavy angular frame certainly cuts a dash and the original two coloured vinyl of red and grey works well.
Condition wise it’s not bad – the solid tubular metal frame is repair free and pretty much as found apart from a light wax. The seat and back are repair free with just a few tiny pin sized holes and the odd scuff. The front of the back has a slight discolouring from spillage and the off white arms are also repair free. Very much usable - looking good, smelling fine and being heavy for its size.
Not seen one like this before – a rare and distinctive individual!
