Victorian Pine Panelled Single Door Cupboard

A three quarter height Victorian pine cupboard sitting in its original stain, displaying some pleasing wear and tear. This one possesses the rural/country humble look with its four panelled door and two original shelves to the inside, probably locally made by a carpenter. It’s a narrow one, rather than bulky and may have sat in a kitchen used for small items. The top is blackened again with some nice wear.
The piece is in good order with its original plank back in situ and the front stain nicely crazed. We would say that the handle is a later addition but it does the job well. There is a lock to the door however no key which means the door stays a little ajar. Its smells fine and is dry.
A sensible sized piece with plenty of uses…
