These simple and stylish chests of drawers are from the Liden Whitewood Range, a range of plywood furniture that you could purchase and leave plain or paint if you wish. This set, we will also include a small cabinet, survived the paint pot and are presented in the “raw” as they say.
Apparently the strap line for ads was “The Liden Catalogue Whitewood Furniture for Colourful Homes”!
The chests are both four drawers deep and are simple in design with a small integrated handle to the fronts. These ones are particularly fresh looking with only the shading of the ply peeping trough on the sides. They are in very good vintage order, no wobbles, no deep marks, no pen marks and they smell ok.
Something a little different for a change - a very neat, modish trio from the late 60s. Lots of uses apart from the bedroom...
