A pretty good pair of 1950s armchairs with the added benefit of freshly reupholstered seat cushions in a black and midnight blue woven cut pile fabric.
These guys are rather stylish and also comfortable to sit in. They are presented in very good vintage condition, looking fresh with proper black grained vinyl, finished with black piping and blackened brass studs to the sides and rear with buttoned backs. They are perched on black legs and do look mighty smart. The frames are weighty with no sways or wobbles and have been well made compared to some of that era. We would say British around 1950’s bearing in mind the design, finish quality and materials used.
Plenty of these around however this pair are in great nick and ready for use!
