What a wonderful sight and such an individual piece. Whether it be the tall reeded iron legs finished with very well cast paw feet or the Royal coat of arms and flowers, again cast into the door of the safe, it’s certainly got true style and real class...
The black paintwork is pleasingly crazed and slightly crusty in places with glimmers of the pale mustard paint underneath peeking through. The lock on the inside has long gone, however this does not affect its look. Both doors are closing well and the cast iron body and legs are free of cracks or repairs. It’s a very heavy chap with the legs and safe coming in two parts - but it’s definitely not a one person lift!
We enjoy the drinks cabinet look, but hey this one is going to look tremendous wherever you place it.
